The ULS23 Challenge will be conducted virtually with a help session scheduled for December, and a workshop organized in April. The help session will focus on how to build your algorithm container and use the available baseline models. It will also provide a venue for participants to team up and share information. At the final workshop the winners of the challenge will be announced, and there will be opportunities to present your methodology.

After the challenge has concluded the winning solutions will be made available as algorithms on GrandChallenge. The test set leaderboard will remain open to submissions for benchmarking future ULS models.

Dates are tentative as we aim to plan the challenge such that participants have time to write a short paper on their methodology and submit it to the MIDL24 conference hosted in Paris, 3-5 July 2024. The MIDL short paper deadline is on the 10th of April 2024, the ULS23 winners will be announced before this deadline.
